Infosecurity professionals are commonly labeled as: serious, paranoid, highly intelligent, nerdy, the list goes on and on. However, I would argue that infosec professionals are more rock and roll….or at least a combination of rock and roll and mischievous. You may be curious as to what evidence I have to back-up such a claim. To that I say, have you seen the naming conventions for APT groups? Sometimes we struggle to discern APT group names from our favorite bands. To that end, we built a fun little quiz, so you can see if you can distinguish the difference between the APT groups/vulnerabilities/operations and bands.
