[New Look, Same Commitment] To a Safe, Secure, and Open Internet for Everyone
The Next Evolution of DomainTools
If you’re reading this, I hope it feels a bit new and different. Today we launched a refresh of the DomainTools site and branding and an update to the navigation and hosting platform. Our goal with this effort is threefold:
- Make it easier for visitors to better understand what we do and to more quickly navigate to the content they are looking for.
- Improve the page load speeds and deliverability from all parts of the globe.
- Modernize the DomainTools brand to reflect where we are going rather than where we have been.
DomainTools is the Internet Intelligence engine that powers best-in-class security programs. We map and monitor the Internet to help detect and predict emerging threats. We are, quite literally, the first place many of our customers go when they get an alert or an IOC (indicator of compromise) and need to know immediate context on the domains and DNS infrastructure that may be associated. We have an ambitious, security-focused mission and there was a clear need to update the brand and positioning to reflect that.
A lot has transpired over the last few years at DomainTools. We’ve continued to invest in our Internet-scale data collection engines and our data-forward thesis for threat intelligence and risk scoring. We’ve launched market-leading new products like Iris Detect and continued to invest in intersecting our intelligence where our customers need it, such as the recent update to our 4th generation Splunk integration. We received a major investment from Battery Ventures in late 2020, and acquired Farsight Security in late 2021. Indeed part of the site design effort is to better integrate Farsight products and branding and create a framework for any such future acquisitions.
Like everything we do at DomainTools, the work on our brand and website was done with our users and customers in mind. I’m hopeful your experience here is an improved one and we certainly welcome any and all feedback at [email protected].
